background information: i'm fifteen. two years ago, i was borderline anorexic. (three pounds to go.) i 'got over it' myself. i no longer feel guilty eating food, unless it is in front of people who know my past. but i still have lingering depression, i think, or maybe i just make it up.
and this is my question. how do i know if yi'm really sad or if i just THINK that i'm sad? how do i know if it's ok to give myself a compliment? how do i know if it's okay to move on? can people see that i've changed, how i've changed? do people love me? how cna i relax?

Maybe councelling would help you to get more confidence in yourself and your eating, you shouldnt feel guilty for eating, especially when your with people who know your past, you are just showing them that you are a strong person and that you are better and how much courage and will power you have, that is nothing to be ashamed of at all.
Giving your self compliments and focusing on the positives will boost your confidence and make you feel happier.
It is very OK for you to move on, you've got over an eating disorder which i know is so hard to do, councelling will help you to move on. your doctor can reccomend you to a counceller which will mean you wont have to pay. Also school and college councellers are free. My college councelling helped me alot with my confidence.
I wish you all the luck in the world, you are so strong and deserve it x [ chakra's advice column | Ask chakra A Question ]
