ok so i like this kid, and i dont know if he likes me. We were together earlier this year and i dunno what happened, but todayi think he was gonna ask me out .. im not sure but he wrote something on a peice of paper and then carried it with him all day but well how do i find out with out like directly asking and stuff

i would ask around. ask his friends (who would know) or get your girl friends to ask him and find out.
if you want to do it directly, just be like 'yeaaaaaaa, one of my friends was like 'omg ______ soo likes you' so u was just wondering...lol' something easy and quick like that. if he doesn't say yes, then he either doesn't like you or he is just shy and thinks you will like turn him down or something.
