Tea Tree Oil

Question Posted Sunday May 29 2005, 8:20 pm

If you can see the tumor, if it is on the outside, you could also try putting Tea Tree Oil on it. It has a very strong oder, but I works well to heal almost everything. That is what I would do.
Michele

Ok, I bought the Tea Tree Oil, but on the bottle it says not to apply to animals.... Help?

Michele answered Sunday May 29 2005, 9:50 pm:
Well, I have a book here that says it can be used on animals. But I think I know why. Many animals would lick it off, and Tea Tree Oil should not be taken internally. Do you think the hamster will lick the tea tree oil off the tumor, or could you cover the area so he can't lick it? Or maybe it is in an area where he can't reach it. Just be sure to clean things up after you apply it so he doesn't lick it. If it gets on his paws, he may get some of it in his mouth.
