expoliate before you do it. and make sure your in good light where you can see when you apply it. wear gloves so your palms dont turn orange.

make sure you blend it.. spray on is probly the worst because i used it and got streeky arms and legs.. but the endless summer cream works awsome it doesnt realy turn you orange ..it comes in a green bottle and has two lotions that come out at the same time. make sure you wipe a tissue between your fingers toes.. alsoo wash ur hands when your done. and try not to do it rite before you go to sleep because it could come out funky and if it gets messed up then its harder to fix then it is when you first see the problem spots.. lighten up on places lyk your elbows nees and heels cuz theyll get dark nd orangey hope i helped ya ! ]
just fyi, sunless tanners usually nva work, and they make u look orange. [ive watched my sister experament w/ that] ]
all i can say is, start your fake baking early- use a little. see how it looks an hour later, and you can always add more. i know i would much rather look a little paler than i wanted to turn out like, than like an oompa loompa, to say the least. ]
Just spray a lot of it on you until you look like Osama. Then you're good. ]
exfoiliate, exfoiliate, exfoiliate! take a shower before you tan and use a good exfoiliant to get off all the dead skin cells. dead skin cells soak up tons of tanner and that's the main cause of streakiness on you're skin. then once you've dried off, apply lotion to ALL of you're body. that way you have a nice pallate to work with and the tanner goes on smoother and looks better and has a lesser chance of turning orange. to put it on, use a dab about the size of a dime, you want it put it on in small amounts. if you use something like a dab the size of a quarter, you might not get it rubbed in all the way and it could streak! so once you've got it in you're hand, work it on in little circles all over the place. once you get to your ankles, feet/toes, knees, elbows and hands/fingers, mix the tanner with an equal amount of lotion (if it's a foam, just apply another coat of lotion before you use the foam). you need to go really easy on those areas, they're really sensitive to tanners and most of the time thats where oranginess and that fake color turns out. doing your back can be a problem sometimes so ask a friend or you're mom to help you with that. with you're face, apply enough to cover you're forehead then rub it in. then apply enough for your cheeks, then from there get all the other little areas like your nose, chin/lips, eyelids( i know it usually says 'stay away from eyes' but just put it on you're lids or else you'll have to add tons of eyeshaddow to cover up the difference in color.) so once you're completely done, wash you're hands off really good with soap and water, then pat dry with a towel. wait for about five-ten minutes (depending on the product) for it to dry and presto you're done! good luck and i hope it looks really awesome for you! have fun tonite!
love/advice always,
