sleepover problems..

Question Posted Friday May 27 2005, 12:02 pm

im a 16 yr old and to this day i have trouble sleeping over somewhere. A couple times my friends have taken me on a 2 or 3 day trip and i just sucked it up at night and dealt with it....but i avoid sleepovers at my friends house because i just like sleeping in my own bed at my own house..i could do it if i just made myself go..its not likke i would call my mom at 2am and ask her to come get me (thats what i did when i was 11)...i think its all in my mind though..are there any sites on my problem? should i sleep over my friends house? its not like we are gonna sleep right

my brother used to that problem when he was little.. Try bringing your own pillow and blanckets, try to make you self as comfortable as possible and have fun. I dont kn ow any sites about it but you could also try going to their house for awhile, and going home later.. and if theyre having people over all day the next day too.. just go back in the morning. Hope I helped..

Okay i mean it completely your choice weather you want to stay some where but if i was you id think about this.. Later you might wished you went and stayed with friends and then youd hear bout some things your friends did for fun and sometimes its fun to be away from friends.. but i understand what you mean about wanting to sleep in your own bed cause i like to too.. i dont even like really sleeping in my boyfriends bed even tho im completely comfortable sleeping with him but i rather sleep with him in my bed.. but i mean just do what you want im not sayin all the time go stay with friends just every now and then.. much luv dez x0x0 ♥

I have the same problem. When i was younger i made my mom come pick me up at 2 in the morning, even if i was at my grandmas. You should sleep over at your friends house if you feel comfortable. Its not a big problem, you just like sleeping in your bed and not somewheres else. Good Luck. You should go to your friends house!!!

Nope, no sites.

Its all in your head. You'll have to fight yourself and tell yourself you're lying to yourself.

i used to have this problem. i felt homsick, but then i realized i was with my friends and they would stay up with me untill i felt confortable enough to sleep. bring some things over to there house from ur bedroom. like, your pillow, a stuffed animal, a blanket. any of these that make you feel confortable being away from home.
