Aneraxia
13-f.. My older sister is now 17 and she was aneraxic for a few years and was in and out of the hospital. Shes been out of the hospital for a while now but im still really worried about her because shes starting to get skinnier but very slowly im not sure if its from doing track or not but shes been watching what shes been eating again and sometimes i find it annoying. We never had a good sisterly relationship. We used to fight alot and sometimes she would hit me and swear at me, but i understood why she did it because she was really depressed and didnt like the way she looked.( Even tho she wasnt fat at all and she was beautiful). I'm not sure how to stop worrying can i have a lil bit of advice???

ok well talk to your parents and adults that are trusted get her help anerexia is a mental health issue and it will kill you so you need to get her help but you cant blame her how you see her is totallly different from how she sees herself she thinks shes a bloated whale you see her too skinny but pretty. she will quit eating till she thinks shes naturally skinny. anerexia can also be because of teens& celebrities that get skinny girls feel bad about themselves.good luck im sure things will be fine

Well, if there is a school counsler that you might be able to talk to, that might help you get it off your mind. Talk to your sister about it, even though you dont have a 'sisterly' relationship, why cant you start one now. If she doesnt listen, there are these types of bars you can buy i think and tell her these bars will make you 'skinnier' but really make you gain weight.. i will ask my teacher or nurse and get back to you on that one. BUt if she doesnt want to talk to you i think you should hang with friends and talk to someone about it to get it off your mind!! im always here.. qtmichelle26 is my sn!!
