my face is not the cleanest one and it has some pimples and i wanted to know what kind of face wash or any techniques i can do to make my face really smooth and even get rid of some pimples
gakkuhideto answered Monday May 23 2005, 5:23 pm: 1. Wash it a few times a day.
2. Use a clean cloth, lots of soap, and hot water.
3. Don't touch your face, that ruins it.
4. There's this stuff called bag balm. It's yellow, gooey, smells like pine and comes in a green can. It's for cuts and burns, but rub it on your zits before you go to bed and the next morning, it won't be completely gone but there will be a difference. I usually see it at hardware stores, but there are little mini cans at drug stores.
5. Clearasil Ultra. The instructions are on the package, this stuff works IF you use it all the time.
6. Mudd. As in masques. It's an orange tube that can be purchased in the grocery store. I really like the Original kind, but 5-Minute is good also. Just put it on your face, wait til it dries, and wash it off.
7. Don't go for Proactiv/Klear Action. I've told people to use it before, but it made my skin really flaky and after I started using Clearasil Ultra I completely changed my mind.
8. Don't pick at your zits. I do that all the time...ew...but if you want smooth skin, don't do it.
9. Don't wear makeup. Lots of people say that if you just wash it off, it will be okay, but for some people (like myself), it causes mass breakouts. You're better off without it. [ gakkuhideto's advice column | Ask gakkuhideto A Question ]

Neutrogena has a great acne facial wash that works. Just look in the face wash aisle of a pharmacy or supermarket and read the labels of face washes and find one that you think will work.
