To get over a guy... Considering the circumstances, I can only give you a logical guess and try considering this situation as if -I- were trying to get over a girl. So if I were trying to get over someone... This is a tough question because you could try completely erasing him from every sentiment that pops in your head and replace it with something quick and brilliant (but that would be cruel and heartless) or you could endure the seperation and try to stay at the "friendship" standards. Hang out with him and show him that he and you are just friends. Show him that no matter how much you are around him, you have no connections from the heart between you two. And hopefully,do to the way your mind works, the more you try doing this the more you'll convince yourself that that is how you see it all. It's pretty much fooling the brain into believing that this guy of which you had some sort of linkage with, you're only his friend. "Let the past run aside the sun that is stealing yesterday."

Trust me, eventually that which you want to get over you will accomplish. You really shouldn't get over him, but moreso demote him from more than friend to more of a friend.

It's hard to forget something you held as a significant priority. It will take time.
