1. Because having condoms implies that people are having sex, and he would rather that people don't have sex. Idiot.
2. Consequences of what? He probably just wants things his own way and doesn't care how people feel.
3. Because he's a stupid man. They are only good for donating sperm to us so that we can keep the species alive.
4. Lots of people do this. It's stupid, but whatever, if they are dead then we don't have to worry about them.
5. I don't think so. Not being a Catholic, I don't see how the Pope effects me. Even if I was Catholic I would probably ignore it. Okay, so the Church probably does have influence in the government, but it doesn't really matter...for the time being, we are allowed to think for ourselves.

God is an asshole. He kills everyone, floods them, kills them for hitting a rock in anger, and tells someone to kill their son and then says hes just joking and to really not actually do it.
Why do you think many catholics only concentrate on Jesus so much? Because Jesus is someone nice, you can look up to him and make him an example. If we looked up to god and studied off him, we'd be killing each other over the stupidest of things.
The pope dismisses this because he has no explanation for it. Just like no one has explanations for A LOT of things in the bible. People will bring up a different point to try and prove it wrong, but do they actually answer the DIRECT QUESTION. NO! They go around it.
