Wash your face before applying any conceler or foundation, So that your skin is clean and clear. use the right type of foundation that matches your skin dont go over board because its can look awful and you could look orange. When usuing lipstick apply it onto your lips and add some clear lipgloss so that it makes your lips look shinny and nice. If your brown try cream,gold,brown colours for skin. If your blonde Light pinks and purples mabe a really light blue. Ginger greens and yellows.

for eyes which means using mascara, don't stroke the mascara in different direction, stroke the mascara in one direction so it goes with your eyebrows
to have a good complexion, always wash your face twice a day, and apply a good mosituriser and if you apply face powder, some people but a face cream and a make up base and when it is dried apply face powder moderately, which looks natural
if you wear lipstick, try to use on which moisturise your lips, so it doesnt look dry
