I dont know what to do!! I have really liked this guy for the past year. He is just so awesome to be around. I can talk to him about anything, act goofy, whatever. He is almost perfect. I even love all of his cute flaws, its insane I know! So the problem is, we never officially dated because he was a freshman in college this year and I was a senior in highschool still. He lived about 3 hours away, and it just made things difficult. Well, he just moved back to the cities for the summer, and next year I am going to a college only 10 minutes away from where he goes. Sounds like everything is great now huh!? Well, I just don't know what to do. This past year we have become best friends, and I don't want to lose that at all, especially since we will be so close/in the same city now for a long time.
Can anyone help me here!? I would really appreciate anyones input..especially if they have been in a similar situation!! Thanks everyone!
VanityScore answered Wednesday May 11 2005, 3:56 pm: Well, if you like this guy as much as you say you do, you should be willing to risk it (mean as that sounds)... plus, why wouldn't you want to date your best friend? He already knows a bunch of stuff about you... and is less likely to mess stuff up.
I dated my best friend on and off last year. And even through all the break ups and stuff, we're still best friends, and he's always there for me... even when he was the guy who hurt my feelings... (he hit himself for that one). Just because there's a break up (or break ups...) doesn't mean that you guys are all of a sudden going to stop being friends or something... I'm still friends with all of my ex boyfriends (except for one) [ VanityScore's advice column | Ask VanityScore A Question ]
