He died drunk in a gutter, didn't he? Anyway, try google or an encycolpedia (they can usually be found at a library).

oooohhhhhh i did a report on him but i dodn't find anything, all i found was he died on like 1849. i think he either died by cancer or gun shot

hey...ok the only reason i know this is because of our teacher lol....
it is said that edgar allen poe died because he was so hurt because of his wifes' death... he like was so depressed and stuff and like he went all crazy ... so to take out his depression he took it out by being poetic but then it finally got to him and from what i can remember he may have died in his sleep...he was like a recluse pretty much ....if u dont no wat that is....(someone who like never leaves their house)
