Moving Far Away from Me
My BFF is moving at the end of our school year to Maine, and I feel really upset and sad. Currently, I've made her a scrap book, a video of memories, and I'm throwing her a going away party, but I feel like I'm never going to get over losing my BFF. Have you gone through this before? I'm not sure I can deal with it.

I did actually. I think everyone does sooner or later. Sounds like you made some nice things. Did you make copies for both of you?
When my friend moved away, it was before computers were a big deal. We had to write letters back and forth. While that was fun, it took a lot of time to do. We finally stopped and lost touch. :( But nowadays there are these great computers! You can write and instant message and even send pictures back and forth! So even if she's miles away you can still talk to her every day if you want to. Sure will make it a little easier.
By the way, even though it has been almost 35 years...I have recently found my old bff through the computer! It's great. Stay in touch and it will be ok. You will see each other again someday.You will be sad for awhile but it will get easier. :)
