ok here it is: there are 2 sides to it....a girl who is a lesbian and a girl that thought she could be.
" in middle school, sam, 16. began to accept that she liked girls... when i was growing up, i knew i was different from other girls. for starters, i liked "boy" things, like sports. what really set me apart was that even though i kissed a few boys in middle school, i was always more attracted to the girls i knew. i wanted to kiss and hold hands with them. but i never talked about those feelings b/c i thought i was supposed to like guys. when i was 13 i noticed that my friend amy* was more affectionate than my other friends-shed tickle me and sit on my lap at lunch. it excited me but it was also confusing: did she like girls too? since i wasnt sure, i kept acting the same as i was with all my friends. then one day she kissed me on the lips between classes. maybe there is someone else out there like me, i thought. so the next day at lunch i pulled amy aside from our friends: "do you like girls?" i asked."yeah" she replied. i was psyched- i wasnt the only girl who liked other girls! just hearing her say that changed everything- for the first time, my feelings for girls seemed ok. i told my mom right away that i liked girls. mom had a lot of gay friends so i knew shed be cool about it. she said she supported me and understood. its been 3 years since i came out, and i now have a lot of other friends who are gay that i met at the gay and lesbian center near my house. there are times when its hard, like when people say anti-gay stuff, but having family and friends who are there for me always helps me get through it."
how to know if your gay: 1. do you ever wonder if youll start liking guys-the way you think youre "supposed to"? 2. when your friends talk about boys, do you feel bored-or like you cant relate to their interest of the guys? 3. do you find yourself daydreaming or fantasizing about dating the girls you know instead of the guys? 4. do you ever think about what it would feel like to kiss or make out with another girl? if you answered yes to any of these questions, you probably are attracted to other girls to some degree. that pretty common- and it doesnt necessarily mean your bi or gay.

theres more but i cant fit it all...im soo srry but your going to have to ask again so i can put it all in. <3
