i wanna ask this friend thats a guy to a graduation dance at my school(8th grade/female) but weve known eachother since we were like 4 and i asked him out over the summer and he said no, cuz he just thinks of me as a friend. so if i asked him to the dance i think he would think i like him and would say no, but i dont. also he likes one of my friends but she wont go out with him. i dont want anyone to no i asked him especially if i say no because theyll think i like him, so how do i ask w/o everyone finding out, and how do i ask him?

Well what I would do if I were you is I would just explain to him that you don't like him like that, and that you would like to do to the dance with him just as friends. As for your friends finding out, there's not really a way to avoid that, but just explain to them to that you don't feel that way about him. As for asking him just call him up and ask him, or e-mail him. But if you want to ask him face to face just find a time when you can talk to him alone for a second.
