okay i'm a redhead and i HATE having pale skin. i use a fake bake called "neutrogena gradual tanning lotion" and i really like the color it gives me but my back always seems to get messed up. no one at home can help me with it b/c the only one who could doesn't like me tanning and just got out of surgery. so how can i get my back a more smooth color instead of jagged. i already exfoiliate and use lotion before i apply the tanning lotion. either that, or a way to tan naturally without going to a tanning place and without getting a sunburn. i rate good.

sunless tanners are TOTALLY safe.. Why won't anybody help you with it? It's not like it'll give you skin cancer.. But anyways, if nobody will help you with your back, save up the money and go to a spray tanning booth every couple weeks.. it can get kind of expensive but it works and it gives you an even tan!.. hope i helped

i go to a tanning bed -- but yeah high risk of skin cancer.. but yeah - i dont know good ones but i know do NOT use the neutrogena foam stuff, gosshh it turned me BRiGHT ORANGE

Have a friend come over and help you. You could also try looking in a mirror. I fake tan too with lotion and I HAVE to get help with my back. So your best luck might be a friend. Hope that helps you?
