okay i cant exactly spell it but i have a really bad *sist* on the back of my leg. its like a bump thats swollen. it really hurts and it hurts when i walk and everything. im going to the skin doctor for it but besides that do you have any ideas of ways to make it feel better, or prevent others from coming... it runs in my family and oh goodie i have to live with this stuff.. i have a few but this one really hurts. and does anyone have experience with them because i am really scared to get it removed or to get a shot on it. :(

A cyst is a sac of fluid that's under the skin. I'm not sure what a dermatologist can do about it, but if anything, they will remove the fluid and then it'll be all gone.
Don't be scared. You'll be fine. I've had cysts removed before but they were on an internal organ.
I'm not 100% sure how they will remove yours, but it probably won't hurt. I was given an anesthetic and you probably will be too. :) Try asking someone in your family, since you say that other family members have the same issue.
