hip definition

Question Posted Tuesday April 26 2005, 1:43 am

i would like to know if there are any exercises to help me gain hip definition? i find that my body shape is like a ruler, i hardly have any curves! i'm not overweight, nor am i skinny but is this possible first of all? i know there are exercises to get rid of love handles like side crunches, but is there any way to add muscle mass in that area instead?

The way I got mine was sitting at the computer and eating donuts. Im kidding but you could possible tone your stomach more, making it smaller. Therefore giving the appearance that your hips are larger.

Basically, you will never be really curvy because you've been born with the genes that give you small hips! However, one possible way you could try is by trying to define your waist a bit more so that your hips look wider than they do at the moment. One way you could do this is by taking your hand over your head and bending slightly over to the side, then bringing it back and repeating 10 times on each side twice a day. Its really effective!
