well this all depends...are you and the guys you've liked forever like, really good friends? or just like acquaintences? cause if you're really good friends then if anything more happens, it could screw up the friendship. but if you think that there might be a possiblity between you and him, then go for it.
now the guy at the dance. if he doesn't go to your school or doesn't live around you (meaning you won't see him often) then i say just talk online and stuff and see what happens. keep your options open, thats what i do. if you need anymore help, ask away
