It's perfectly normal to be scared. Anyone would be!

The first step is to show him you like him. How, you ask? Easy. Flirt. Flirting is a fun way to get some one to notice you and realize you have some feelings for them. If you want some tips on flirting, go here if you haven't heard of it already: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) Just flirt, be fun, and give him all the right signals.

How to ask him out. This part is probably the hardest part, but once you get through it, it'll be easier afterwards. That's great that you want to make the first move and ask him out.

When you're ready, ask him to meet you somewhere private. Could be at the park, behind the school, etc. Or you can ask him if he'd like to catch a movie with you over the weekend. If you do pick a movie I would go see a comedy. Not a romantic one because it might make the both of you feel uncomfortable, lol. And maybe he's a guy that hates mushy romantic movies =b Plus, with a comedy, you guys can have some laughs and talk about it afterwards. Strike up a conversation with him. So once you're alone with him and the timing is right, just go for it. Express your feelings and tell him you really like him. Tell him you'd like to get to know him better. Then ask him if he'd be your boyfriend.

Whatever the answer is, be proud of yourself. You got through it and you finally got that out of your chest. If he says yes, congrats! You have a new boyfriend! If he says no, hey, no worries. That's one guy down on your list for the right guy and you're one guy closer to finding him. Plus, at least you got some experience and you're ready to ask out the next boy you really like.

Tip: Whatever you do, ask him out in person. Not the through the phone, aim, letter, or a friend. That's just sad because it means you can't even talk to the person you like. Talking to him in person will make things less awkward than talking to him indirectly and seeing him the next day agian.

Another tip: Be CONFIDENT! Guys love it, and you'll feel better about yourself.

Hope it all works out!
