Doctor's Visit? I'm going on a vacation at the end of June. I am not exactly sure what days I will be gone, but it is looking like my period might land right in the middle of things. While I know that nothing is certain at the moment, and that whether I want it to or not my period will show up, I would really like to avoid the hassel- I don't take many vacations, and I don't want this to ruin it. Is there any way in the world that a doctor would prescribe Seasonale, or some other tri-monthly birth control, to a healthy 15 year old? I don't even know if there will be time for me to start anything before the vacation, and this is kind of a desperate hope, so tell it like it is. Thanks for your help!

I'm, in reality, not totally sure if a doctor would prescribe birth control to a healthy fifteen year old, but there's never any harm in asking. I would give it a shot.
As far as birth control goes, There probably is time. You usually start birth control on the last day of your period/the sunday after your next period. It takes a month to go into affect (at least, I think it does, but I take a monthly thing). So if you haven't had your period yet this month, you might wanna go to the doc before you do.
I hope this helps, and good luck with all that. Have fun on your vacation!
