Changing...

Question Posted Wednesday April 6 2005, 5:43 pm

Last year I had a lot of friends, and they meant more to me than my own family. I hurt them all pretty badly, and after realizing how much of a dumbass I was, I changed myself. There's this person that I wish I could be friends again with, and I know I fucked up pretty badly, how do you think I could win her trust again?

You can't just 'win' trust, it has be be gained. If you talk to her, tell her how you've changed, and really mean it, she'll probably listen, I know I would. Just call her every now and then, ask if it's a good time, and just start talking. Don't mention how much you've messed up, and if you talk about the old times, make sure you avoid the bad. Isn't it funny that it only takes one thing to lose someone's trust, but it takes many to gain it back? Drop by her house sometimes, see how she's doing, invite her to a movie or something. Just get back into her life and it'll be fine.
I forgive you.
