He probably was calling you hot in a indirect way. This boy might be shy and not know how to tell you, so he told you that your sister was hot instead of directly saying that about you.

That he remembers your older sister being hott, so even if he hasint seen her in a while...I'm sure to him, she would just have gotten hotter. Since you like him, and since you kinda look like her..maybe start to talk to him and get to know him better !
