Love if just a word if you don't mean it. Make sure you feel the same way about him, as he feels about you. Test him, make sure he won't give up on you quickly. Be flirtish as well, be playfully mean to him and see if he gets upset. You don't want to date a guy who has already previously broken your heart. Because what hurts the first time, hurts even worse the second.
