Honestly, the best thing to do is eat smaller portions (but not too small - anorexic will not help you) and exercise. The best time to exercise is in the mornings before you eat breakfast. Running is really good for losing weight, and there are also exercises to tone your muscles - Just google "Toning exercises" and you'll be able to find stuff. Remember that if you eat junk food, you won't lose weight, and if you eat obscenely large portions of things, you won't lose weight. The thing to do is balance diet and excercise. Also remember aerobic workouts are ones that will get you thinner - such as running, not anaerobic (like lifting weights). I hope i helped at least a little bit..
