Hmm...I know that my friend has a book that says in the first few pages why Wiccanism is NOT a form of Satanism...although I can't remember the title. Damn. I'll get back to you on that when I find out!
As for actual websites etc, I'm really not sure...pretty much every good website mentions a little on it but I haven't seen any with really good essays or even lengthy points. I have something somewhere in my book of shadows that I printed out...I can type that up for you, although I'm not sure on where I found it.
Here are a couple of points I've found looking through my BOS -
*'A witch seeks to control the forces within her/himself, making it possible to live life wisely and well, WITHOUT HARM TO OTHERS, and in harmony with nature.' - Satanists would want to harm others and not give a flying fig about nature.
*'An' it harm none, do what ye will.' - Basic Wiccan principle. Don't harm others - Satanists do not abide by that.
*'We do not accept the concept of 'absolute evil', nor do we worship any entity known as 'Satan' or 'the Devil', as defined by Christian tradition. We do not seek power through the suffering of others, nor do we accept the concept that personal benefits can only be derived by denial to another.' - That one's pretty self-explanatory.
*'Wiccans do not believe in Satan or the Devil, but that evil comes from human beings and the bad choices which they make. We create evil when we do wrong, we are not it. It is not fair to blame our wrong-doings on some evil deity (e.g. the devil) - we must accept responsibility for our own actions.'
*'Wiccans attempt to rid the world of some of it's evil by being kind, loving and in harmony with nature.' - Therefore we are not Satanists, who try to ADD to the world's evil.
*'We are not Satanists. In fact, we do not believe in Satan or any supreme evil, nor do we believe in hell. Let's just clear up a few misconceptions about witchcraft while we are on the topic. We do not sacrifice animals or people. We are not trying to become Gods. Love spells, revenge spells, and hexes are NOT a practice supported by the Wiccan Rede. We do not run around in black pointy hats and cloaks, turn people into toads, or fly around on broomsticks. Never believe what you see in Hollywood; it is probably either wrong or exaggerated for interest. Magic is more complicated and has a more subtle nature.'
*'We are not evil. We don't harm or seduce people. We are not dangerous. We are ordinary people just like you. We have families, jobs, hopes and dreams. We are not a cult.
