I moved into a new city last summer, and there's this guy that lives 3 houses down that goes to my school. He always looks at me when we see eachother during school, and even stared at me when i walked into one of his classes. I want to talk to him and i think he may want to too, but he has a girlfriend. We pass eachother everyday after a class and i dont know how to approach him. Next time i see him walk by, what should i say/ask to get a conversation started? What are some other things i could do to show that im interested besides smile?

seriously, you have the obvious conversational icebreaker, ask him about the neighborhood. is ther ea good place to eat? walk? workout? hang out? whatever.
no doubt you will find out he is just as awkward about this as you are.

When you see him you can say 'Hey, aren't you the guy who lives a few houses down from me?' Then you can introduce yourself... Then you can ask if he would want to hang out with you sometime or show you around since you're kind of new. Good luck. =D

hey it sounds like he wants to get to know you. even if he has a girlfriend-go for it! maybe he doesnt want to approach YOU first because he has a girlfriend. or he might be too shy/scared? but what you should do...just make TOTAL eye contact. or you can just be like hey...do you know what time it is? or something like that. or you can bump into him and be oh sorry or something! just think of any excuse to talk to hmi. and in your neighborhood go take your dog for a walk and keep passing his house. or watch out your window and if hes outside go walk your dog or ride your bike and just talk to him!! if you guys end up getting together, it would work out GREAT..i mean he goes to your school AND lives 3 houses away..ur s0o lucky...

well i deffinitely think that he likes you so just smile and say hi or wats up and strike up a conversation. who knows you two mite become friends and maybe more. well good luck and i hope i helped.

Well, if you have a class together, and you sit near him, just start talking to him and be like "Hey, you live down the road from me, don't you?" and just get it started from there. Don't be too forward or anything, because that might creep him out. Start talking, try to get his email or IM or whatever. It's ALWAYS easier to talk to guys over the computer for some reason.
