Its really your personal preference. Tampons aren't as bad as people make them sound. As long as you're careful and do everything right, there's a very low risk of getting TSS. However, you should still wear a pad at night and when youre not on the go because the chance of TSS will increase the more often you wear tampons. Believe me, wearing tampons at school and out is much more comfortable then pads. Tampons are easy to insert once you get the hang of them too. Hope I helped...write back if you need more info

The reason for getting TSS is if you leave it in to long, or when you use a bigger size then need be. As long as you know what kind of flow you have and put in the correct size, plus take them out after 4 hours or so, you will be fine.

TSS is extremely rare. you just have to make sure to change out your tampon often. if you don't want to use a tampon, then get pads that are for heavy flow. you could just try a tampon, but someone who already uses them to help you.
hope i helped!!!

The only way you are going to get Toxic Shock Syndrome or TSS is by wearing a tampon in for too long or just wearing them when you shouldn't. Don't worry, there is a small chance that you will get it. Just remember, tampons are a lot better than pads because there is a less chance of you leaking and you can't even feel them. Why don't you try using a few tampons for a day? Your about them will change, trust me.
