Cutting isn't no big deal. Jane needs to understand that if she starts cutting, even if she claims that it isn't serious now it could get very serious later. If you have tried talking to her and she won't stop then you should talk to an adult. It doesn't have to be a counselor it can be a parent. Jane may feel like she has this situation under control but she may be suprised at how quickly things can go out of her hands. You are a good friend to be worried about her. Just keep trying to get through to her, maybe Jane will realize the peril she is putting herself in. Good luck and I'm always here!
