Question Posted Wednesday March 23 2005, 5:13 pm

I recently lost a lot of weight, and am underweight. I was wondering, once I get back to my normal weight and start eating regularly, am I going to gain weight as quickly as I am now? I just gained 5 lbs in a week, and am kind of worried..

I dont know what kind of diet you were on but any time that you lose a lot of weight and you go back to your normal diet it is very easy to gain it all back very quickly. What kind of diet were you on?

it depends how you lost the weight. if you sort of starved yourself and then started eating regularly the weight comes back very fast at first. once you get back to a normal weight and normal diet and exercise you will most likely start to gain weight more regularly. if this is not the case i am sorry and feel free to IM me.

i hope this helped =]

You shouldn't worry that much probably. Many people's weight fluctuates 5-10 pounds. Mine does atleast. I'm anywhere from 120-135. But really, even if yo have gained 5 lbs in a week it might not nessecarily mean that you will continue to gain that much or a lot in general. And anyways as I see it...as long as you look good to yourself..weight is just a number.
