Question Posted Sunday March 20 2005, 11:48 am

Ok what I want to know is each side of the story. I want to know why people like pro-choice and why others like pro-life. Give me feedback and I will rate high.

I am VERY against abortions no matter what! I do not know why anyone would want to kill a baby because they didn't want it. It's horrible. I mean, imagine if our parents killed us because they didn't want a baby. The parents should at least have the baby and put it up for adoption. And I do not agree with the person who said that they would have an abortion if the baby had Downs Syndrome. I work with children who have Downs and they're are so great. You'd really be surprised at how smart people with Downs are or people who are Mentally Retarded. It's great. Anyways, I am totally against abortions and all that kinda stuff. I hope I helped you out!

Well I'm catholic and they're against abortion. I am too and I would NEVER kill an innocent baby. But I am pro-choice because some people make mistakes in their life and they have no way out. Also, the government can't control our personal choices because it's not theirs to make.

I am pro-life. I feel that once the baby is in a women's womb, it is a living person. The baby has no choice as to whether or not it can live. I mean, at least have the baby and give it up for adoption, or (in MA anyways), they have something called "Safe Haven" (sp?). It allows you to bring your baby to a hospital, fire station, or police station without being charged. It's for the better of the baby, and it allows the baby to live. The ONLY way I am against it is if the doctor's know the baby is going to have birth effects (ex: down syndrome). The reason I think that is because I don't feel too many people would adopt a baby like that. Not necessarily because they're different, but because they take A LOT of work to take care of them. Somebody always has to watch over them in their life. I hope that made sense.

Hope I helped!
