SxyLilPoo47 answered Wednesday March 16 2005, 9:53 pm: Well I cant say that I have the same problem because I don't but I am very comfortable around boys.Just think of them as one of the girls like talk about the things you talk about with your girlfriends to the boys except for make-up other boys and your period.Oh and ask questions . . .Questions keep things going on FOREVER!!! AND U MUST MUST MUST TALK ABOUT SPORTS!!!
sarah0308 answered Tuesday March 15 2005, 9:28 pm: just be yourself around them. pretend they are like your girl friends (but dont talk to them about stuff you would talk to girls about). ask him what kind of music he likes and what sports he plays. just think of things that you would normally talk about with your girls and go from there. i dont have a problem talkin to guys because most or half of my friends are guys.

pretty_n_punk09 answered Tuesday March 15 2005, 9:04 pm: I know how you feel. Well, most of all the guys in the world like to talk about themselves and brag and make sure that you think their really cool and all that, so one topic idea is: Him!
Ask him:
What sports he plays
What music he likes
What he does in his spare time
What he likes to do
Sometimes guys will just talk about whatever they want. Just go with the flow. If they talk about a band you've never heard of, just say,"I've never heard of them. Are they good?" Then he'll probably say yes and you can ask,"Can I borrow your CD and check them out?".
Talk about what you like. Don't try to be someone you're not. You can't keep up it up forever. Just be you. Guys like it when your being yourself. They like it better when you can be you.
Talk about bands, music, T.V., movies, games, your cellphone, friends, school, teachers, what classes you might have together, etc.
Need any other help, IM at darkangelsfire09 or just leave me a question.
Kels answered Tuesday March 15 2005, 8:51 pm: ask about them!
I had the same problem!
I know, girls LOVE to talk about them selves. just try and ask them questions, and listen to them! then you dont sound annoying or like you are bragging and then you dont have to talk and then get toung tied!
Some things to ask:
1- do you play sports.
if so, what ones.
what positions, ect
if not, if you could, wich would you play?
2-whats your fav. sport to watch
3-what kind of car do you want/have
4-do you have any siblings?
if so, what age, grade, names
if not, if you could have one, what sex and how old? lol
5-do you have any pets?
if so, what kid, how old, do you like it
6-have you ever lived anywhere else?
if so where?
why'd you move here?
do you wish you could go back there?
7-where are you going for spring break?
ect.
Hope I helped-
I've been in your position! if you ever need ANYTHING leave one in my inbox! leave me one if you use this! tell me how things go!
GOOD LUCK!
*(if you do get toung tied, go like lugh lugh, like it sounds when you get toung tied, and be like "bad talking day" or something! LoL.)
qotsa369 answered Tuesday March 15 2005, 7:34 pm: It would have helped more if you put your age, but in general just listen to what hes talking about or find something that he likes. [ qotsa369's advice column | Ask qotsa369 A Question ]
