i used to cut and i've stopped but every once in a while i feel the urge again. my b/g knows this but hes the only one and it scares him. i tell him the truth b/c we're 100% honest but i dont know how to tell him its not his fault. he wont believe me. he thinks hes not making me happy enough

Well, I'm glad you stopped first of all. I know how tempting it can be, and it takes a lot of effort to stop, so I'm proud you managed to.

I guess there really is no way of telling your b/f (I'm asuming you meant that, not b/g). You're telling him the truth, but he just doesn't believe you. Have you ever tried telling him why you cut? Maybe you could tell him he helped you stop (if that's the truth..). Or try telling him how happy he makes you, maybe you could write a poem or something.
