what would you do if your parents treated you like a 12 year old, but they thought they treated you like any other 15 year old? Some examples, you go with 4 of your other friends, in a moterized vehicle(not a car) and your mom thinks its "big kid stuff" that she actually let you do it. (yes, she actually said that, and not that i asked to do it either), or your parents won't let you see a PG-13 movie "because it might scare you". and they won't talk to me about it, yet when i am upset at them they force me to talk to them about it....you wanna know what i say to that??? BULLCRAP!!!!! LET ME LIVE MY LIFE!!!!!! (those aren't the only examples i could give but they are the most recent)

Now i think you should do your best to show them that you are not a kid and that you should not be treated like one. I am not saying you are immature. But do something extra to show them. Maybe they'll notice and say something that could bring up a conversation between the three of yall and it could result in more freedoms. They are your parents, so dont be disrespectful. You have to do what they say. But try to show them that you can handle being on your own, to some extent. You are still young, and youll still need them. But show them your independance!
