aim & firewall

i have this firewall thingy and now it wont let me on aim and it keeps connecting.. vertifying name and password and then it will say connection lost when the connection isnt realli lost

THE FIREWALL MUST DIE! eeek.. yes, you have to get rid of it to use aim, it sucks seriously.. but there are some settings I think you can adjust to make it so that some things get through the firewall, and it'll allow you to get on aim.

try uninstalling the firewall. Sorry I cant help more. It happens to me but i dont have anything blocking it.

i have firewall 2! well what u need to do is when ever the little chart thing pops up then make sure that you put it on HIGH it should work it did for me! good luck! =) x0x

Software or hardware firewall?
Software ones basically do shit and should be uninstalled because they are an annoyance.
If hardware, they you need to edit your router settings, open up some ports.
