im afraid of getting my period while im away at camp.im nervous about it all around. i really dont want it leaking through and everyone noticing. and at camp who wouldi go to and how who i tell my mom whos back home?

i dont understand what your asking. have you never had a period before? because if you have then i dont see what the big deal is, take tampons and always have on in your pack or you pocket. if you havent ever had one before, then what makes you so sure your about to start? if you think you are, then still do the same thing. keep tampons with you, of corse tampons arent the greatest thing to use when you first start, so you might consider pads which youll need full underwear for and might have more of a leakge problem with. SO if you havent started you might want to talk to your mom about this cause shell kow what to do, they always know. unless your already at camp, then talk to a girl councelor, theyll know what to do too, and dont be embarrased about it because its something everyone deals with. so good luck and dont worry about it, youll get a stomache ache.
