Dry skin

Question Posted Thursday March 3 2005, 9:52 am

Hi. My face (especially by my mouth) is always dry. No matter what I do, (clean it off, put tons or small amounts of lotion on it, leave it alone, put special cream on it, whatever) it won't go away. My face looks like a car in the winter that is covered in slush! The dry skin makes me cover my face all the time when someone is looking straight at me. Please help me!!!

loli know exactly what you mean, does it hurt when you open your mouth sometimes? okay well are u using any acne medication...creams...etc? if you are you should stop using them by your mouth. theres face washes that are made specially for dry skin, and you should try getting a small amout of petrolatum jelly(vasoline), rubbing it b/w your fingers and put it by your mouth, but not to much bcuz it could clog your pores..but ive never seen blackheads by the mouth before. leave another in my inbox if this doesnt help you! -best of luck!<3, me
