hey! well i've had the same thing, and i'm sure many other people have too. what i would do, is that you wait a while...until you both are ready to take that chance, and meanwhile..you guys can decide if you really want to make that choice and take the chance of ruining the friendship. and also, if he's the right one for you...then if you guys were to ever go out and then eventually you break up, if he's a good enough guy then things wont be messed up because you both would have made good choices and he would still want to be as close friends.
