BRing up serious topics!! Make conversations that wont lead to joking around. Stuff like What do you think about this? OR you can start the conversation seriously and talk to him seriously so he understands that you are not joking around! I think he might think that your joking around when your talking to him too. Just talk more with eachother and you will get to no him!

You need to talk to him and tell him if you can start being serious with each other and that you can still joke around but you want to be serious. When you two are joking around, try to stop and ask him if you can talk about serious things and ask him questions. Tell him that you want to get to know him better but you can't, since you always joke around. If he's your boyfriend, I'm sure he'll understand and will be more serious.

alto fo couples feel this way and i have had that problem before... one fun way to learn something about yor bf while being sily but serious at the same time is to make a box full of questions on little slips of paper and sit down to dinner or something and taketurns pulling and asking questions... if he doesnt answer punish him ... like he gets no kiss but if he gives you a good answer give him a kiss... who kwos it miight be stupid id suggest trying it out...
