I have liked this guy for 3 years, how do i make him want me
Question Posted Monday February 21 2005, 7:27 pm
My name is Kelsey (female) and im a freshman in highschool. I have liked this guy named Drew since i was in 7th grade and he was in 8th. We are best friends and can tell each other anything. We help each other out with our love lives all the time. He never thought of me in a girlfriend way. Lately though, he has been saying things like we should hook up and start dating this summer when he gets his license. The other night we were talking bout what if we had sex over the summer. And he made it seem like he wanted to date me. Now he is dating a junior. He holds her hand, walks her down the hall, and looks at her like she is the only person in the room. Am i supposed to move on and forget him? Should i wait around? What do i need to do to make him want me? I need your advice please!!
Sincerely,
Kelsey

Okay, well, girlfriend or not, I would still try to be with him at least. I say your first step is to talk to him. Alone. Ask him what is going on. I find it weird that he would plan to date you in the summer, but starts dating another girl. Can he not wait? That's a good thing to ask him. Your best bet would be to ask anything you need to ask him, things you need to know. If that doesnt work, then I would move on ... i know it will be hard, but it's better to be with someone who wants you back, right? [ snowwalker69's advice column | Ask snowwalker69 A Question ]
