i want to turn my room into an old hollywood style, kinda hotel room type of thing, but where the stars stayed, and by old i mean like the 20's 30's 40's hollywood theme, breakfast at tiffanys, casablanca, etc. i want it to look like the fancy hotels of that time with the posters from movies of that time, i know where to get the posters, but what, and where do i get the other stuff?????? please help, i rate well!

Miz_Jenny answered Friday February 18 2005, 10:53 pm: you should really focus on the walls and furniture in the room. those era's had a very dramatic feel, so play that up. try wallpaper or fabric walls circa that era. with furniture, try rich fabrics in golds, pinks and emerald greens among others. again, keep in mind the dramatic affect that those era's hold. good luck decorating!
