ok i dowload music w/ bearshare but my mom totally freaks out saying the cops are going to get me and crap like that. How likely can that happen?

Well you never know what can happen very likely they wont find out but lets say bearshare goes bankrupt or gets in trouble...then every one who uses them will get in trouble

i have bearshare on my computer and tons of other people i know have it on theirs too. i think it's very unlikely that the cops will get you. besides, there are tons of other worse things going on on the computer than that, so i think you've got nothing to worry about!
