Being tactful is being able to say certain things in certain situations keeping in mind the other person's point of view or feelings in order not to upset her. Clearly, you lack this quality. I know you do not have to use tact much in daily situations like at work or with people that are really dumb and mean but you like anyways, but sometimes, people get hurt when you keep bragging about how perfect you are at school. And about your friend who sucks at cards, maybe if you stopped calling her stupid and yelling at her in front of everyone, she would be less pissed. So next time you are about to whine, no dont start yelling at me now, because you're the one who asked me for advice and I'm giving it to you!So next time you are about to whine about something, think of that new word you just learned:tact, and howit can apply in this situation. It'll take a few tries, but eventually you'll get it. [ berryhairycanari's advice column | Ask berryhairycanari A Question ]
