Tanning....

Question Posted Friday February 4 2005, 5:14 pm

It's winter time and I'm very white and I can't stand it!! A lot of people I see in my school are super tan because they go tanning and stuff! I want to go, there is this place up the street I can go to but I don't want to look like a weird o going in there not knowing what to do or anything about it...I got some questions if anyone can help out, it'd be great! How much does it cost usually...I know you have to keep going back and stuff how much does it usually cost! And also how long do you have to keep going back?? And any other useful info! Oh yeah I know it causes cancer or w/e...I don't need a lecture about that lol kk

try to find a place where it charges you for one day..like you only have to pay the day you tan. and dont sign a contract. i think its best if you go once a week. for your first time, only be in there for about 5-10 minutes and every time you go back increase how long your gonna be in there. oh yeah, and if you use some of there tanning oil while your in there, make sure your not allergic to it and its the right one for you. but only if you use the oil.

I know you don't want a lecture but if this was my mom and she saw this question she would cry. April 11th 2002 (maybe one). My aunts last day on earth. Tanning salons. No sun screen. She was probably a teen like you, not a care in the world. March 2nd 2002 (maybe one). The last day I ever saw her. Do you want to know why? Because she didn't want my brother or me to see the effects it does to your body. But i have a picture. Skinny everywhere. Yellow skin. The pain drove her crazy. She would call for my mom, grandma, grandpa, uncle, and even my dad, brother, and I sometimes. You could tell she barely had much more time in her life. Give me a one I could care less. I just want you to know what it could do. It's your saving grace. Use it wisely.
Oh about your feedback you didn't offend me at all. I just wanted you to know the facts so you don't get hurt.
