There is this guys that I met a few weeks ago. He has a good heart and he is beautiful on the inside and out. He is an honest man. He is faithful. He has good values and comes from a good family. He embodies everything that I am looking for in a guy. He makes me want to be a better person, and i know that sounds corny. I have many flaws, some of which he has brought to my attention. These are issues of the past that I need to learn to except and move on, and he is helping me do that. I guess im just scared of loosing him and at the same time scared of getting hurt. I dont understand what it is the he likes about me. The one thing I do know is that he thinks im beautiful, but i want to be liked beyond just the physical attraction. I dont know if he likes me as a person. I continue to work on bettering myself, andi can only continue to do that each and everyday until I die. I am scared that he doesnt view me in a positive light and that he doesnt see that i am truely a good person with good values. Do you have any suggestions ot words of advice. Thankyou -EB

First you are probably casting him in to good a light. He has many flaws also, but it's not your job to focus on his flaws unless they are affecting you directly. The same goes for him.
You need to stop being scared of everything. Live in the moment. Don't think about the past or the future, if you do you'll ruin the moment. If it's meant to be then it's meant to be, if not there are plenty of fish in the sea.
A wise man once told me that "I don't have a right to know what you think about me." That is just a simple fact of life. We never really know what others think about us. In reality it's really of very little importance. What matters is what do you think about you. If you like yourself then others will too. Don't worry so much. If you don't see the good in yourself then neither will anybody else. If you do see the good in yourself then maybe that's what he see's as well. I have a feeling you don't have very high self esteem and don't really see the good in yourself or you wouldn't be asking this question. The question you should be asking is what do I see in myself. Once you have the answer to that you'll know what others see in you as well.
If you are really working on yourself each and every day then you have nothing to worry about. Just make sure you really are and not just telling yourself that you are.
