You should ask wut are the personal reasons.
ask him if he would go to the movies or sumthing but make sure his girlfriend knows about you and him going .. Because if she found out she would think he was cheating on her. And maybe if they brake up maybe you two can keep closer to each other like best friends . then maybe consider going out..
