Ok, I am a shy person too. But I've been blessed with homeschooling. I don't have to deal with people like that on a daily basis, but only twice a week. I know how it feels to be so left out.. all you wanna do is sit there, stick your hands under your knees and stare at the floor.. yea. I will help you as much as I can, and believe me, I am going through something like this too. Ok, I don't think that any human deserves to be treated with this sort of rudeness and hostility. I know why I am treated this way - I am homeschooled. There is nothing wrong with me, I am a fairly smart person for my grade, I'm not obnoxious, I am just shy and homeschooled. The people that taunt, tease, and leave me out use this to their advantage. I am shy by nature, and withdrawn out of embarrasment and shame from being ridiculed. All I can say is this: Find some good friends, I know that you're a guy, but girls aren't so bad all the time. (this is coming from a girl, FYI lol) Guys may be more "up your alley" though,'cause you're a guy. It's so hard to put yourself out there, and say, "Hey! My name is "your name", whats yours?". Probably by now, if someone's noticed you, they have an opinion of you. If they haven't noticed you, they're probably just as shy as you are. Try and find some people that are quiet, shy, and left out like you are. You can't be the only one in your whole school. There are probably more "outcasts" in your grade than you think. Hey, don't sit there with your head on your binder, look up! Look at the teacher! Pay attention! People will like you better if you smile and have a good attitude and outlook on life! Believe me, if you just sit there.. kindof sad and left out and depressed looking, no one will want to talk to you, unless they feel sorry for you. But if you smile =D and try and make small talk with someone, you'll soon find a friend. The reason that these people are doing this to you is because they are insecure themselves. And the best way for them to make themselves feel high and mighty is to make someone else feel like a peice of dirt. If you get teased, take it with a smile. "You're right, Joe. This shirt is funny-looking! But that's why I like it!" be yourself in the way you dress. If you're a "geek", dress like a geek! Sometimes people who are lower on the social status have higher self-esteem than the popular people. Don't conform to the world. I am sorry that this is happening to you, have hope and know that you're not the only one! God Bless!
