im grounded because i was suppose to be home at 12:00 last night and i show up at 12:20 and im grounded just for being 20 min late and it was because i could not fined my friend and i told my mom that and she is like i dont care u were suppose to be home at 12:00 and i mean 12:00..... she said i cant go ride around again 4 a long time.. is there anything you think i could tell her or do to change her mined...
and you probly goin to say well she made up her mined but please give me something else...

tell her to view it from your perspective, and tell her when your friend ran off you lost all control over the situation, therefore you had no idea when you'd be home, planned or not.
