over-bearing? I have this friend, i luv her to death, i do. *haha as a friend* but sometimes she can really piss me off too. we are in a band, and she will make desicions about it without asking us, and when we find out she acts like we should just automatically differ to her opinion, like we don't have our own. also, when i talk to her, she tends to turn the conversation aroudn to herself a lot. but don't get me wrong, she is a great friend. she's always there for me, and can be a good listener...sometimes.
i want to stay friends, and i've tried to talk to her about it, but she doesn't really listen. erm, help?

You need to simply confront her, look her in the eye, and say "We REALLY need to talk about our friendship." You need to tell her some of the following things:
1. You totally love her so much and love being friends!
2. Tell her that some of your friends agree with you, that she's a little bossy and a bit self-centered.
3. You REALLY WANT TO BE FRIENDS, but it seems impossible whenever she acts the way she has been acting.
4. You totally love her so much and love being friends!
Make sure you do it in person.. as hard as it may seem. Get her alone, because she'd be totally embarrased if you did it in front of her friends/family/just people.
Hope I helped.. fill me in on what happens! ]
