Ive always had a crush on him since 4 years ago..so 11 years. weve been best friends. well he found out i liked him and was gonna ask me out...i know this for a fact. well i go to meet him and theres some chick with him and its his new girlfriend...shes 14 and he said he wouldnt date a younger chick. his words to me were "i like you still but i like her more sorry...can we be friends?" then she comes over and starts kising him adn they start making out in front of me....and he keeps calling asking about friendship i keep ignoring the call or haning up...im so hurt..i mean 11 years! is longer than a chick he just met....i just dont get why i cant have a bf and keep one! what to do?

There are always going to be people out there that take more than they give. it sounds like he is one if them. just don't dwell on thoughts of him. and as far a keeping best friends well i promise you that there is not a bf shortage going around, maybe through this experience you can grow as a person and find a friend that will do the same with you. good luck [ college101's advice column | Ask college101 A Question ]
